Baccarat Rules

Baccarat banque is wagered on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards below 10 are worth their printed number and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (five plus 6 = eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A additional card could be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house has a score of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has five or less, he takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stays, the house takes a card on a total lower than 5. If the player takes a card, a table is used to decide if the house stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (equal cash less a 5% rake. The Rake is kept track of and cleared out once you leave the game so be sure to still have cash left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie normally pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than 1 in every 10 rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8:1)

Played correctly baccarat banque offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few common myths. One of which is similar to a absurdity in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of future events. Keeping score of previous results on a chart is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and possibly the most successful scheme is the one-three-two-six technique. This method is employed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by betting 1 dollar. If you succeed, add 1 more to the two on the game table for a grand total of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd round, put down two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the 2nd creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of two. And success on the initial three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you are able to squander the second wager 5 instances for each favorable streak of four rounds and still break even.
