Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards than are of a value less than ten are said to be at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they only depict the two hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The value for every hand will be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 has a score of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be played depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Successful wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie typically pays out at eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties will happen less than one every ten hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

When done correctly, baccarat provides generally good odds, aside from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common myths. 1 of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Monitoring of old results on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful tactic is the 1-three-2-six technique. This tactic is employed to pump up successes and limiting risk.

Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. Thus you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
