Punto Banco Regulations

Baccarat chemin de fer is wagered on with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum of the cards, but the beginning digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of 1 (five plus 6 = eleven; dump the initial ‘1′).

A third card may be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the player or bank gets a total of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.

- If the player stays, the bank hits on a value less than 5. If the player hits, a chart is used to decide if the bank stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19:20 (even money less a 5% rake. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you quit the table so ensure you still have cash left over before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning wagers for tie frequently pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. 8:1)

Played correctly punto banco provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat banque has a few common misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not an indicator of events yet to happen. Tracking past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.

The most established and probably the most successful plan is the one-three-two-six tactic. This method is used to build up profits and limit losses.

Start by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the game table, pull off four so you keep 2 on the third bet. Should you win the 3rd bet, put down 2 on the 4 on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth bet.

Should you lose on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial round followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four bets gives you with 12, a take of ten. This means you can squander the 2nd round 5 instances for each successful run of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
