Baccarat Banque Rules

Punto banco is gambled on with eight decks in a shoe. Cards under ten are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, although the 1st digit is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and 6 has a total of one (5 plus 6 = eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).

A additional card can be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house achieves a score of eight or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has 5 or less, she hits. Players otherwise hold.

- If the player holds, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to figure out if the bank stays or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19:20 (equal money minus a 5% rake. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you depart the table so be sure to still have cash left before you head out). Winning wagers on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pays 8 to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a awful bet as ties happen less than 1 in every ten rounds. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)

Bet on correctly baccarat banque offers relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of common myths. One of which is close to a myth in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future events. Tracking previous results at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.

The most established and possibly the most successful plan is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This tactic is deployed to pump up earnings and limit losses.

Start by wagering one dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the table, subtract four so you keep two on the third round. If you succeed on the third round, put down two on the four on the game table for a total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you do not win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st round followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the initial 2 with a hit on the third gives you with a take of two. And wins on the 1st three with a hit on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you can not win on the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four wagers and in the end, balance the books.
