Baccarat Chemin de Fer Rules

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are valued at their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the first number is dumped. e.g., a hand of five and six has a value of one (five plus six equals eleven; ignore the 1st ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or bank has a value of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has five or lower, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player holds, the house takes a card on a total lower than five. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to figure out if the banker holds or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The better of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to Twenty (even payout less a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you leave the game so be sure to still have cash left over before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pays out at 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a awful bet as ties occur less than one in every ten rounds. Avoid wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Wagered on correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few common misconceptions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of events about to happen. Recording previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most common and possibly the most successful method is the one-three-two-six technique. This technique is used to build up winnings and minimizing losses.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you succeed, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will now have six on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the third round, put down two on the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the fourth wager.

Should you do not win on the initial bet, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first round followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the initial two with a hit on the 3rd gives you with a take of two. And success on the 1st 3 with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to give up the second round 5 times for every favorable streak of 4 wagers and in the end, balance the books.
