Baccarat Banque Standards

Punto banco is enjoyed with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; dump the first ‘one’).

A third card might be given depending on the following rules:

- If the player or bank gets a value of 8 or nine, both players stand.

- If the gambler has less than five, she hits. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler holds, the banker takes a card on a total less than 5. If the player hits, a chart is employed to figure out if the house stays or hits.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The bigger of the 2 hands wins. Winning bets on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal cash minus a five percent commission. Commission are recorded and paid off once you quit the game so ensure you still have cash remaining before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pay 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie normally pay 8:1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a poor bet as ties occur less than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of gambling on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Wagered on correctly baccarat gives relatively decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has some established myths. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future events. Tracking past outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most familiar and possibly the most acknowledged course of action is the one, three, two, six plan. This plan is used to maximize profits and limit losses.

Start by placing 1 chip. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, subtract four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd round. If you succeed on the third bet, deposit two to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a take of 2. And success on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to give up the 2nd round 5 instances for each successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
