Baccarat Rules
Baccarat banque is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The total for every hand is the sum total of the cards, but the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six = 11; ignore the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card could be dealt using the rules below:
- If the player or house has a value of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise hold.
- If the gambler stays, the banker takes a card on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is employed to determine if the banker stays or takes a card.

The greater of the 2 hands wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even payout less a five percent commission. Commission are kept track of and cleared out once you depart the table so make sure you still have funds left over just before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning wagers for tie normally pay eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen less than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one vs. 8 to 1)
Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Banque Method
As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few familiar myths. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events yet to happen. Recording previous results on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most common and probably the most favorable method is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is employed to maximize winnings and minimizing risk.
Begin by betting one dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, take away four so you keep 2 on the 3rd round. If you come away with a win on the third round, put down two on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th round.
If you don’t win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the first round followed by a hit on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third provides you with a gain of two. And success on the first three with a loss on the fourth means you are even. Succeeding at all four rounds gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you can not win on the second round 5 instances for every favorable run of four rounds and in the end, break even.
