Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are said to be at their printed value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they purely represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards shall then be given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the initial digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven as well as five has a score of 2 (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card can be given out depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, each players stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used in order to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay at nineteen to twenty (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have funds remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at eight to 1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties will happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. Definitely don’t try betting on a tie. Nevertheless odds are actually better – nine to one vs. eight to one)

Played properly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is never actually a predictor of future results. Keeping track of past outcomes on a chart is a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful strategy is the one-three-2-6 concept. This method is employed to amplify payout and controlling risk.

Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd wager, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the initial wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second causes a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
