Baccarat Rules

Baccarat banque is enjoyed with 8 decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below ten are valued at face value while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six = 11; dump the 1st ‘one’).

A third card can be given out depending on the rules below:

- If the player or bank achieves a total of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the house hits on a value lower than five. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is employed to decide if the bank holds or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The bigger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19 to 20 (equal money minus a five percent commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out once you leave the table so ensure you still have money left over before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays 8:1 but sometimes nine to one. (This is a poor bet as ties happen less than one in every ten hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus eight to one)

Gambled on correctly baccarat banque gives pretty good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events yet to happen. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and almost certainly the most favorable strategy is the one, three, two, six method. This method is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will hold six on the table, subtract four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd bet. Should you win the 3rd wager, put down 2 to the four on the game table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the initial wager followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the initial two with a hit on the third provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all four rounds leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you can squander the second round 5 instances for each favorable streak of four wagers and still experience no loss.
