Baccarat Banque Rules

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are valued at their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is ignored. For instance, a hand of five and six has a score of one (five plus 6 equals eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out based on the rules below:

- If the gambler or banker has a value of 8 or 9, both players hold.

- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the player holds, the banker takes a card on a value less than 5. If the player takes a card, a guide is employed to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal cash minus a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you quit the game so ensure you have cash around just before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at 1:1. Winning bets for a tie typically pays out at 8:1 but occasionally 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Be wary of wagering on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Gambled on correctly baccarat banque offers fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few familiar misconceptions. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of future events. Tracking previous outcomes at a table is a waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and possibly the most favorable strategy is the one-three-two-six plan. This method is deployed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.

Start by wagering one chip. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. If you win you will retain 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you have two on the third bet. Should you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

Should you lose on the 1st bet, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the initial bet followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of two. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a take of 2. And success on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you are able to lose the second round five times for every successful run of four bets and still are even.
