Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are valued at their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they purely symbolize the two hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 produces a total of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. guidelines:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of 8 or nine, the two players stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even odds less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure that you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pay out eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to one. (This is a crazy bet as ties happen lower than one every 10 hands. Run away from placing bets on a tie. Regardless odds are emphatically better – 9 to one versus eight to 1)

Played smartly, baccarat presents relatively good odds, away from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an actual indicator of future actions. Tracking of previous results on a chart is a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-3-two-six scheme. This tactic is used to amplify successes and cutting back risk.

start by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
